Darling, Clementine

Like many of you, Sweetcakes has been in the midst of holiday festivities. There's been a cookie exchange with the amazing ladies of bookclub, and a wildly successful Cakemas at work that yielded enough sweets to feed the entire office (we're talking more than 200 advertising peeps, my friends).

Plenty of upcoming posts to post, but for tonight, just in case the Mayan calendar has us dropping off a cliff, or our own elected officials have us dropping off cliffs while they go merrily home for the holidays, there's this delectable: Honey-preserved clementines and Meyer lemons.

A recipe for this fineness can be found here, on Fine Cooking. There are many uses for this gooey deliciousness - including as topping over ice cream, as a marinade, and perhaps, even, to mix with a holiday beverage. Cheers, tasters.
